Main Applications

This product uses density gradient centrifugation. According to the difference in cell density, cells are separated and purified with the aid of separation liquid and a centrifuge. The cell separation liquid produces a certain degree of density gradient. After centrifugation, red blood cells and granulocytes settle at the bottom of the tube; PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells, including lymphocytes and monocytes, etc.) float on the surface of the separation liquid. The target cells are retained above the designed nest. The unique nest in the separation tube can minimize the mixing of the target sample and the density gradient medium. Finally, it only needs to be simply poured from the centrifuge tube without any other technical professional operation.

Precautions

• Do not reuse the separation tube.
• Due to differences in the performance of centrifuges of various brands and regional temperature environments, the separation effect may be affected. Users can adjust the centrifugation speed and time to find the optimal separation conditions.
• Can be used for human peripheral blood, bone marrow, and umbilical cord blood samples. It is not suitable for leukocyte separation samples, blood sedimentation yellowish layer samples, or samples older than 48 hours.
• After centrifugation, cells may aggregate on the wall of the separation tube above the enrichment layer. This aggregation is normal and is affected by sample quality, sample storage time, and anticoagulant type. This aggregation is not related to the use of the separation tube. Cells can be removed by scraping the side of the tube wall using a pipette tip.
• When handling any biological samples, the use of blood collection needles, blood collection tube series, and related instruments must follow strict operating procedures.
• Treat the sample as a hazardous substance that may be infected with HIN, HBV, HCV, etc. To avoid the risk of infection during operation, please use disposable gloves.
