Features
Sorfa cell culture flasks (also known as tissue culture flasks) are designed with three types of cell culture areas: 25 cm2, 75 cm2, and 175 cm2. The scales engraved on both sides help users fill the correct amount of medium. The marking area is used to identify flasks for different purposes, and the ridge at the top makes the flasks easy to stack. Sorfa's slanted neck design facilitates pipette access to every corner of the flask.
The lids are divided into stoppered sealed lids and vented lids. Stoppered sealed lids are generally suitable for closed culture. Additionally, it is also suitable for open culture when the lid is unscrewed. The vented lid is designed for open culture because it includes a 0.2-micron pore size hydrophobic membrane. The membrane can prevent contamination during gas exchange. A CO2 incubator is recommended for use with the vented lid, specifically for long-term cell culture.
